In today's globalized world economy many countries are trying to simplify the visa issuing procedure or even terminate visa requirements at all. In order for this to happen bilateral agreements between countries need to be signed. In terms of visa requirements Croatia has agreements with many countries around the world, making it easier for their citizens to freely travel to Croatia.
Exempt countries
Nationals of the following countries can visit Croatia visa-free within the period of 90 days: Andorra, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Brazil, Brunei, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, Cyprus, Denmark, Ecuador, El Salvador, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Guatemala, Hungary, Honduras, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Jamaica, Japan, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Norway, Panama, Paraguay, Poland, Portugal, Romania, the Republic of Korea, San Marino, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United States of America, Uruguay, Vatican City State - Holy See and Venezuela.
New rules
Government of Republic of Croatia, as of March 10, 2011, adopted the decision to temporarily facilitate the entry of aliens on tourist visits to the Croatia on the basis of valid Schengen residence permits and visas.
